Our team recently had a learning session with @petmar to better understand the factors behind the calibration work we’re doing with our sensors. We recorded it, and in case it’s useful, wanted to share it with you. It takes us through how sensors actually work, how to build a transfer function, the resolution and sensitivity of measuring devices, and the process of characterization and adjustment that defines calibration. Here’s the video: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5g43Vkmazs&t=5s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5g43Vkmazs&t=5s)

Do you have any questions about calibration or sensing science that Pete doesn’t cover? Let us know and we can answer them here.

Here’s a blog post Pete wrote covering how the calibration process discussed above relates to our recent re-development of FieldKit Water.
